About Cheer

WCWAA’s Weddington Titans Cheerleading is available to participants ranging in ages 5-12 years old as of July 31st of the current year. No experience is required and there are no try-outs of any kind! The number of squads will be determined based on participants.
Our goal is to provide a FUN learning environment as we familiarize your child with the fundamentals of cheerleading, while emphasizing the importance of academic success. Participation provides all cheerleaders an opportunity to be part of a team, and we encourage the development of qualities that are important long after the program has ended such as Teamwork, Positive Attitude, and Good Sportsmanship, in addition to successfully achieving a goal through hard work, and the opportunity to meet new friends.
